The Story

Kristina
Kumlin

teacher, author, and founder of the House of Diplomacy. thirty years of practice — and a life remembered.

she was a supermodel before she was a teacher. the story the magazines told was glamour. the real story was finding her way back to herself.

Kristina Kumlin is a teacher, author, and intuitive guide devoted to personal transformation, conscious living, and meaningful human connection. with over thirty years of experience in yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice, she has moved through a wide range of wisdom traditions — Kundalini yoga, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Tai Chi, and other esoteric teachings.

her work is grounded not only in study, but in lived experience. having transformed her own life and come through addiction, she brings authenticity, depth, and compassion to everything she does. she is known for a strong intuition, and for an ability to take a conversation past the surface — into what actually matters.

she comes from a family of diplomats, and carries a natural understanding of perspective, dialogue, and human connection. it shapes everything — the practice, the writing, and especially the conversations she now invites others into.

today her work is simple to say and a lifetime to do: to help people reconnect with themselves. through her voice, her writing, and her presence, she makes space for healing, awareness, and real change.

"i am not here to tell you who to become. i am here to help you remember who you are."

The book

Jag är ful

a memoir of the years inside the modeling industry, the addiction that came with them, and the long work of recovery. it is the writing the house is built upon — the proof that the practice is not theory, but a way back that she walked herself.

In their words

those who have practiced with her.

"after practicing yoga over ten years in New York, Kristina's class was a gift. i have never experienced a teacher as wonderful. she pushed me farther than i have ever gone — never to a point of pain, but with encouragement. Kristina is inspiration."

— Deena Sturm

"a true inspirer who really sees and brings out the best in you. thanks to her and her practices, i now live and act closer to my mind, body, and heart than ever before."

— Marika Kehrer

"her rich and disciplined training gives her the knowledge to ensure you work toward your maximum physical expression. you experience the healing, grace, peace, and strength to succeed in every area of your life."

— Ariel Berios

"to be in a class taught by Kristina is a beautiful experience. she teaches you how to break through the limits of a doubtful mind — her love, knowledge, and humour help you know that anything positive is possible."

— Terrence Pompey
